The Venue
Lake Ida Events & Fine Arts is a 50-year-old spacious and inviting lakefront venue located in the historic city of Athens, Alabama. This charming property offers seating for up to 100 guests and boasts of vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, original hardwood floors, vintage cedar walls, and lots of natural light. In addition to the beautiful interior, there is the incredible 130 ft deck space overlooking the lovely Lake Ida.
Our beautiful venue is also a creative environment with local art for sale throughout the building. Lake Ida Events & Fine Arts will make an elegant setting for your upcoming special events.
Lyndon Hall is the main event space of Lake Ida. Facing the lake with beautiful floor to ceiling windows, it is frequently used for wedding receptions, parties, showers, and more. It seats up to 60 people.
Lyndon Hall
A room adjacent to Lyndon Hall can be utilized for additional seating or buffet space, a bridal suite or groom’s lounge, and more. This room features french doors that open directly to Lyndon Hall, making it perfect for additional seating or event use. The Art Room seats up to 24 people.
Art Studio
Plenty of space exists for food and beverage display for your event. The buffet room is connected to Lyndon Hall, allowing for ease of access and flow of traffic, featuring two large antique dining room tables as well as an elevated bar area for drink dispensers.
Banquet Space
Lake Ida Events also offers banquet space for larger parties. This space, featuring floor to ceiling windows that overlook the lake, is perfect for additional food and beverage display. It can also be used for additional seating, and it seats up to 24 people.
Buffet Room
Enjoy a picturesque view of stunning Lake Ida from the 130 foot deck space offered. Outdoor table options and configurations are available; a portion of the deck is covered and features a large table underneath. The patio is utilized in every season (patio heaters are available), and features a bluetooth sound system that carries inside and outside.
Outdoor Deck
Enjoy the convenience of optional onsite decor and amenities. The venue’s selections range from tablecloths, drink dispensers, candelabras, crystal vases, and hanging flower baskets, just to name a few. Amenities also include a parking attendant, bluetooth speaker system throughout, festive deck lighting, patio heaters, rolling cooler with ice, WiFi, and a smart TV available for presentations.
