Founded in 2018, we are striving to make a positive, powerful impact on the Athens, Alabama community by nourishing the body, soul, and spirit. Our goal is to offer a pristine event venue, art classes, educational speakers, private catered events, and live music, all here to serve you.

Meet the owner, Rita Campbell. Rita opened Lake Ida Events & Fine Arts in 2018. She and her late husband, Lyndon Campbell (of whom Lyndon Hall is named) shared a vision to serve the Athens community. Rita has since carried on the vision for all that Lake Ida Events could become. As an artist herself, she is excited about hosting events, but also thrilled about the opportunities to host creative art classes and to help others grow. She has big visions for Lake Ida Events & Fine Arts!
